Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

A BCBA is a highly trained professional with a master’s or doctoral degree in behavior analysis or a related field. BCBAs are responsible for:

Conducting assessments to understand your child’s strengths and needs.
Developing individualized treatment plans and behavior support strategies.
Training and supervising behavior technicians (RBTs and BCaBAs).
Collaborating with families, schools, and other providers to ensure consistent care.

Our BCBAs lead the treatment team and make sure your child’s therapy is evidence-based, ethical, and tailored to their unique goals.

Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)

A BCaBA is a professional with specialized training in behavior analysis who works under the supervision of a BCBA. BCaBAs:

Assist with assessments and treatment planning.
Provide direct support and training to RBTs.
Help monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed.

They are an important link between the BCBA and the therapy team, ensuring treatment is carried out effectively and consistently.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

An RBT is a credentialed paraprofessional who works directly with your child to implement the treatment plan designed by the BCBA. RBTs:

Provide one-on-one therapy sessions focused on skill building and behavior support.
Collect data to track your child’s progress.
Work closely with families to carry out strategies in everyday routines.

RBTs are the team members your child will see most often, providing hands-on guidance and encouragement in a supportive, caring way.
